We at Community School Boards of Oregon (CSBO) are excited to announce our partnership with the School Boards for Academic Excellence (SBAE), a powerful new national initiative dedicated to advancing educational standards and school board effectiveness across America.

This partnership underscores our commitment to a shared vision: an American educational system laser-focused on academic success and student achievement. SBAE supports our mission by empowering state-based associations like CSBO with the tools and resources needed to champion academic excellence at the local level.

Empowering Oregon’s School Board Members

Through our collaboration with SBAE, CSBO will provide Oregon’s school board members with essential resources to enact meaningful educational reforms. These tools include budgeting assistance, model policies, legal counsel, targeted training, and strategies for enhancing public relations and community outreach.

Championing Local Decisions and Parental Rights

Recognizing the unique needs of our communities, CSBO and SBAE advocate for local decision-making authority. Our school boards are intimately familiar with their communities and are best positioned to ensure that all students receive the highest quality education. Moreover, this partnership strengthens our commitment to parental involvement, ensuring parents are well-informed and actively engaged in their children’s educational decisions.
