School Board Membership:
- Joining CSBO (Community School Boards of Oregon) is easy and affordable! School boards pay an annual membership fee based on their district’s size. Here’s how it works:
- Membership Fee: The annual fee is just $2 per ADM (Average Daily Membership) for most districts. However, if your district has fewer than 500 students, you’ll pay a flat fee of $1000.
- What’s ADM?: ADM is calculated using the last yearly ADM number reported to Oregon Department of Education. It’s important to note that ADM is not the same as ADMw.
- Prorated Fees: If your district joins CSBO before the annual renewal date of July 1, we’ll prorate your membership fee based on the remaining months until the next July 1. This means you only pay for the time you’re a member.
- Renewal Date: Mark your calendars! Membership renewal fees are due every year on July 1.
CSBO is here to empower you to connect with like-minded school board members and champion our mission for better education. Join us today and be a part of the change!
